The truck driver who was caught with banned ‘gutkha’.
Dimapur, March 14 (MExN): A transport truck was caught in transit carrying huge consignment of banned ‘gutkha’ at the Chumukedima police check-post on March 13. The banned substance was found contained in 70 gunny bags.
The truck (AS 01 4518), which was supposedly carrying bleaching powder, was bound for Imphal from Guwahati. The driver identified as Pishorjit (28 years), a native of Yairipok, Manipur was arrested.
