Banned plastic items seized in Dimapur

Trade licences of defaulters would be cancelled, cautions District Task Force 

Dimapur, January 30 (MExN): The Dimapur District Task Force (DTF) for plastic ban conducted a checking drive of banned plastic items at New Market, Nyamo Lotha Road and Murgipatti areas of Dimapur on January 30. 

During the drive, the DTF team seized a huge amount of banned plastic items and imposed fine on the defaulting shopkeepers and traders. The seized items were handed over to DMC for disposal. 

The team further informed that during the next phase, the trade licences of the defaulters would be cancelled. 
The DTF has also cautioned that during the next drive, water bottles below 500 ml will also be seized and repeated defaulters may be liable for imprisonment.
