Kohima, April 17 (MExN): The Student Council election of Baptist College, Kohima and Sechü campus for the tenure 2024-25 took place on April 15 at Rivenburgs Memorial Hall, Kohima.
Dr. Kewepfuzu Lohe, Interim Principal, Baptist College and Seyiesilie Vüprü, Convenor, Student Council exhorted the students to be efficient and responsible as student leaders.
Kevizhalhou Medom, Chief Election Commissioner gave a briefing on the electoral process followed by the election hour.
Kihitoli A. Kiho was elected the President of the Student Council for the tenure 2024-25.
A congratulatory note to the newly elected Student Council members was delivered by outgoing president Pfütsükote Ketsu Koza.
Earlier, the program was chaired by Leykhringthü and a special song was presented by Chüsusa Katiry.
Vote of thanks was pronounced by Apang Albert N. Konyak, outgoing General Secretary, Student Council.
