Kohima, August 21 (MExN): The Baptist College Kohima conducted a felicitation programme recently for staff and students in recognition of Outstanding Academic Performance and Regularity in Attendance (Best Practice II) at Rivenburgs Memorial Chapel by Felicitation Committee, Baptist College, Kohima.
The programme was chaired by Dr Mhabeni, Assistant Professor, Department of History.
Vipralhou Kesiezie, Chairman, Governing Body, BCK graced the programme as the felicitator. He encouraged the successful candidates to continue to work and set higher goals, build stronger character and discipline to be able to overcome distractions and temptations.
Dr Kekuchol Pusa, Principal , Baptist College, Kohima, in his address congratulated the two University toppers, the department subject toppers and the awardees of the performance based reward for regularity in attendance.
Seyiesilie Vüprü, Assistant Coordinator, IQAC shared on the objectives and the terms and conditions to qualify for the rewards under the Performance - based reward system.
Longvila L Sangtam, 7th rank (CGPA 8.62) , Department of History, Undergraduate FYUGP Examination 2026, Nagaland University and Jasmine Y Konyak, 9th rank (CGPA 8.51), B.Com, Undergraduate FYUGP Examination 2026, Nagaland University shared their gratitude on acceptance of the award.
Both teaching and non-teaching staff with 100 %attendance, students with 99% and above attendance, and department wise subject toppers (6th Semester) were felicitated along with the two rank holders in the Top Ten Nagaland University FYUGP 6th Semester Examination, 2026.Mavericks Academy Award was also given to the highest CGPA scorer one each from Arts and Commerce streams.
Messilemla Chang, BA 5th Semester, Department of English presented a special number. Kevichüseü Agnes Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science and Tamreimung Chusi, Chaplain pronounced the opening and closing prayers respectively.
