Culture Study Centre and Skill Development Cell of Baptist College Kohima organised a practical life skill workshop on October 19.

KOHIMA, OCTOBER 21 (MExN): The Culture Study Centre and Skill Development Cell of Baptist College Kohima, with the aim to foster abilities, organized a practical life skill workshop on October 19.  

The workshop comprised of cultural motif painting with Wulo Akami (BCK Alumnus) as the resource person, bamboo craftwork with Kezhalelhou Zatsu, Assistant Prof Commerce Department and Krodi Kennao (BCK Alumnus) as resource persons, crochet with Loly Chophi, Assistant Prof, English Department and Alito Swu, Assistant Prof History Department as resource persons and paper craft with Asilie Rurha, Assistant Prof, History Department as the resource person.

Altogether, 86 students from all departments and semesters participated in the workshop. Giving the ending remarks, Dr Tsenbeni, Convener of Culture Study Centre emphasized on the importance of practical skills in life and the usefulness of such skills for gaining independence.
