Tening, December 4 (MExN): The sensitization programme of stakeholders and village functionaries under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) to be organised by district administration of Peren will be held in DBs Court at Tening Town on December 8. Resource persons S Tainiu, Deputy Commissioner will speak on the topic powers and functions of Village Council; Deputy Chief Medical Officer will speak on functioning of village health committee and health issues; Asuni Newmai, Penal Lawyers of Peren, District Legal Service Authority will talk on Child Rights; ADC Peren on opportunities in educational sector; Project Director of DRDA on implementation of VDB schemes; District Statistical Officer will highlight on Registration of Births and Deaths. Extra Assistant Commissioner, Tening Saku Chingmak will chair the programme and give the concluding remarks.
