Participants and others during the Believer Eastern Church Dimapur general convention held at GCYM, Dimapur from January 17 to 19.
Dimapur, January 25 (MExN): Three-day Believer Eastern Church (BEC) Dimapur general convention was held from January 17 to 19 at GCYM, Dimapur with the blessings of HH Moran Mor, Athanasius Yohan I Metropolitan.
The convention was held under the theme “Rooted and build up in Him” Colossians 2:7, stated a press release from Rev Fr Ritesh Kumer, Vicar General Dimapur Diocese Nagaland.
The convention was held under the leadership of the Dimapur BEC Diocese. Lecturer David Khobung, Eastern Bible College exhorted the gathering on the opening day.
“We are living in the days where good is considered as evil and evil as good. Times in which we are living are changing with no moral responsibility. As Christ followers, we need to be rooted in God’s word and be rooted in Him,” encouraged Khobung.
The speakers of the convention were Rev Fr Ritesh Kumar, Vicar General Dimapur Diocese Nagaland; Er Sao Sangtam, Jesus Seeks Ministry; Among Lemtur, New Life Nagaland; Rev Fr Kasthang Kath, Administrator Dimapur Diocese Nagaland; Rev Fr Xuvishe Swu, Pastor Board Chairman, Dimapur Diocese Nagaland. The worship team was led by Anthony, Evangelist. More than 300 delegates attended the convention.
