Men and women who are saved have received great thing because of the greatness of Christ’s humiliation, suffering and sacrifice. We are richest men and women in the world because Jesus Christ had undergone the stress of poverty for us. Christ won glorious victory by way of his great sacrifice for sinners. For professed believers, forgiveness and sacrifice for the sake of peace and for the good of others is victory. The living Christ in our heart makes our heart great and enables us to follow him and we are his followers.
Human beings have weaknesses and shortcomings, so making mistake and breaking or violating the law and rule of the society or organization is inevitable and in such cases correction of the wrongs for maintaining the smooth sailing of the organization will be necessary. It is a different matter but anything which gives rise to rivalry drags both sides to conflict and defeated or winner both sides are defeated because the relationship is derailed. It is not victory for both sides. If the difference is settled amicably and compromised, it is victory for both sides. Your sacrifice is your contribution towards settling or compromising the difference which is of high value. As a follower of Christ, everyone is expected to contribute such value.
If you have right relationship with God anything or situation will be for your advantage and for you chance to glorify God. Are you justified? Are you right? Is the other wrong? Self-ego miniatures us instead of exalting us. Humiliation, forgiveness, reconciliation and good relationship will make you great.
