PEREN, NOVEMBER 7 (MExN): Intervening in the much heated debate on Intangki, the Deputy Commissioner of Peren, through a release made clear that the Intangki National Park and Beisumpuikam village falls within the boundary of Peren district. The release received here stated that the decision taken in the meeting at the state government level on July 5, 2007 had been to evict the people from the encroached area and protect the national park. In this regard the DC added that Beisumpuikam village was not included in the eviction list as “it is a government recognized village. The informed action is further stated to have been necessitated to clarify the misunderstanding and confusion pertaining to the above stated eviction.
