Dimapur, May 10 (MExN): All the beneficiaries to be covered under NFSA'2013 (National Food Security Act) and beneficiaries under existing AAY Scheme have been informed to submit a photo copy of their Aadhaar card / Aadhaar number at the time of collecting their NFSA Ration Card-Priority Household (PHH) which shall be notified in due course of time or prior to that, in their respective district office(s). A press release from the Director Food and Civil Supplies, Nagaland, Alun Hangsing, informed.
In case a beneficiary does not have an Aadhaar number, she/he would be required to enroll for the same and possess Aadhaar number as a condition for receipt of government subsidy, benefit or service funded from Consolidated Fund of India. Meanwhile, an interim alternative means of identification for the service delivery shall be made available to her/him which will be purely on temporary basis, the release stated.
