Dimapur, May 9 (DPRO/MExN): Dr. Benny Prasad, the record holding global trotter has expressed his desires for open a Chai 3:16 Branch in Nagaland in the near future. He has travelled every country in the world (257 countries including Antarctica) in the shortest time breaking 6 world records on November 2010.
Dr. Prasad the founder of Chai 3:16 Bangalore said Chai means life in Hebrew and said that the cafe at Bangalore deals especially with students and youths going through emotional struggles and has no will to live. In the non-commercial, 400-seater café, the price of the Chai is decided by the students and officially started its operations on July 11, 2015.
Addressing media persons in the District Public Relations officer Dimapur office today, Dr Benny said, "God created everyone for a unique purpose and every life in Nagaland is valuable in the eyes of God and if I can change even one life its worth my visit to Nagaland.”
Running on to its 9th month, Chai 3:16 have experienced incredible journey rescuing several youths from committing suicides, Dr. Benny shared.
He also informed that presently the staff strength working in Chai 3:16 numbers 15 of them and expressed gratitude that 50% hails from Nagaland.
Observing that in the present day, society is being pushed into a system rather than allowing an individual to follow one's choice Benny felt the need for proper counseling centres for guiding young minds.
"Passion and satisfaction is better than money," he maintained. He further observed that churches needs to be relevant according to the needs of today's generation.
"Church buildings, music system, infrastructures are are all being upgraded so also the messages needs to be upgraded to cater to the needs of the 21st century generation, " he opined.
Lauding the Nagas Dr Benny said this was his 6th visit and expressed that he loves visiting Nagaland from the aspect of their warmth and hospitality and their love for music. He will leave for Bangalore tomorrow and thereafter his next destination will be to Israel and Switzerland.
