
Kohima, July 3 (MExN): In regard to the reports of some frontline workers being tested positive for COVID-19 infection in Kohima, the Kohima DC Gregory Thejawelie, NCS on Friday clarified that a mass “preventive testing” for COVID-19 infection for all the people involved in Bethel Kitchen, Kohima was carried out compulsorily, and all the results came negative.
However, the DC stated that as per the guidelines on preventive measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 in workplace settings, the Bethel Kitchen was temporarily closed for 48 hours and fumigated following all health safety measures and SOPs of the Government.
To be operational from July 4
The DC also informed that Bethel Kitchen will be operational from July 4 in the same location with utmost precaution and safety measures.
He has advised those who are involved in the Bethel Kitchen to follow safety precautions and wear masks all the time, wash hands frequently and maintain physical distances to ensure public hygiene and personal safety.
