Bhandari, May 4 (DIPR): The monthly departmental co-ordination meeting of Bhandari Sub division was held on May 2 at the Conference Hall of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bhandari, under the Chairmanship of ADC Bhandari, Tiameren Chang.
In the meeting, the ADC highlighted that Bhandari Town has grown out of size and is in need for area extension in order to accommodate broader developmental activities.
The officers present in the meeting deliberated and resolved to earmark a land under Forest department and hold a plantation drive on World Environment Day on June 5 at Nogayim Village area.
In the meeting, the Electrical and PHE departments highlighted on the aspects performance, revenues and requirements for enhanced functioning capacity of their departments. The members also decided to have a Welfare Corpus Fund which may be utilized for a cause whenever necessary.
The ADC reminded the Officers that both the Government and the public expect their services for growth and development of the society and, therefore, should have no laxity in running their office for the people.
