Bhandari to impose restriction on vehicular & public movement

Bhandari, August 14 (MExN): The Bhandari Town Lotha Hoho, Bhandari Students Union and Bhandari Town Eloe Hoho had a co-ordination meeting on August 13 and made a joint resolution for the interest of the general public. 

According to a DIPR report, as a precautionary measure, due to the detection of COVID-19 positive person at Zunheboto from Merapani village, ongoing active surveillance and contact tracing by the concerned Department is undertaken.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhandari concerned and with permission, the restriction of vehicular and public movement between Bhandari town and Merapani village will be effect from August 17 to 23. 

However, Medical emergencies, Government officials on duty, commercial vehicles with valid permit order and students necessities are exempted.  

Defaulters will be fined with a sum of Rs 500 and will be held responsible for any untoward incidents caused. The public have been requested to extend full co-operation for the welfare of the society.
