
Maligaon, March 24 (MExN): Bharat Gaurav Train ‘North East Discovery: Beyond Guwahati’ specially designed tour to cover the North-eastern states of India, was flagged off on March 24 from Guwahati Railway Station. The train departed for its next destination i.e. Naharlagun Railway Station in Arunachal Pradesh. The train arrived at Guwahati Station on March 23 after starting its journey from Delhi’s Safdarjung station on March 21 with tourist.
The train was virtually flagged off by Pema Khandu, Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh and Raosaheb Patil Danve, Minister of State for Railways, Coal and Mines, Government of India. Anshul Gupta, General Manager, NF Railway, Sunil Kumar Jha, General Manager, NF Railway (Construction) and Prem Ranjan Kumar, Divisional Railway Manager, Lumding along with other senior officials of Headquarter and Divisions were also present at Guwahati Railway Station during the flagging off ceremony.
