Kohima, February 10 (MExN): The Bishop’s House, Kohima, Most Rev. Dr. James Thoppil, the Bishop of Kohima, joining the clarion call of NBCC, requests that prayers be said in all Churches, communities and houses for peace and serenity in Nagaland especially on Sunday, February 12 as the faithful gather in large numbers in the Churches.
The bishop said that at this critical juncture we need the grace and blessing of God to take right and meaningful decision that will usher in peace and prosperity for our people. He requests all leaders at this moment to cultivate and cherish the spirit of calmness and patience, discussion and dialogue, sharing and caring and give and take keeping in mind the common good and goal of peace and progress.
“Let us remain united and resolve our difference in the true Christian spirit of love and reconciliation,” Bishop of Kohima stated.
