BJP 17th Chizami resolves to work for unity

Kohima, May 15 (MExN): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), 17th Chizami Mandal executive meeting has resolved to work for unity and strengthening of the political situation and to uphold the principle of BJP for upliftment and all round development.

The house, during a meeting held at Enhulumi in Phek on May 14, unanimously resolved to uphold the unflinching support to the leadership of Kevechutso Doul; to work cohesively and unitedly in strengthening the candidature of Kevechutso Doulo for the ensuing state assembly election 2023. It also resolved to go for intensive micro donation through NamoApp towards BJP from the members and like-minded well wishers.

Addressing the house, Nagaland Empowerment of People through Economic Development (NEPED), Chairman, Kevechutso Doulo called upon the party workers to work as one team to strengthen the party. Doulo told the party workers to work in principle as party leaders and there should be no compromise nor be misled by propagandas.

Pointing out that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP led government is systematically working to do away with corruption but benefiting the citizens at the grassroots, citing initiatives like free ration distribution for all.

Stressing on the need to have a strong party in the grassroots, he called upon the party workers to cohesively work to strengthen the party at large and not to be confused nor be led astray but remain committed for the people and bring change. Doulo also asked the people not to talk on religious lines but respect one another.

Earlier, keynote address was delivered by Zashesa Lohe, President, BJP, 17th Chizami Mandal while General Secretary report was presented by Kowe Lohe.
