BJP 59th Seyochung-Sitimi resolves to uphold the party’s principle

Kiphire, June 26 (MExN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) 59th Seyochung-Sitimi Mandal has resolved to uphold the party’s principle for the “upliftment, peace and all round development.”

An executive meeting of  the Mandal held in Kiphire on June 23 also resolved “unanimously” to give unflinching support to the leadership of V Kashiho Sangtam Minister for Soil & Water Conservation, Geology and Mining, a press release informed. 

It further agreed that any Karyakarta (worker) indulging in anti-party activities “shall be dealt seriously as per the provision of the party constitution,” it said. 

The meeting also resolved  to submit monthly report by the local Area units to 59th Mandal Office, it added. 

Earlier,  the 59th Mandal President Toshiho K Yepthomi urged the leaders to rededicate themselves and re-strengthen the party starting from the grass root level.

While noting that many propaganda and rumours may come up even in the coming election, he urged the party karyakartas to remain committed and stand firm for peace, progress and development. 

Short speeches were also delivered by President 59 BJMM, Lidangla,; V/Presidents, Khyünyüba and Irothe; and Executive Member, Vitsakyü.

Presidents from Seyochung, Amahator, Sitimi and Longmatra  Area Units presented respective report in the house.

The adoption of resolution was passed by Tethsolen, General Secretary and endorsed by all the members present in the meeting by raising the hand, the release added.
