Longtho, April 23 (MExN): The office of the Bharatiya Janata Party held its 2nd Mandal Executive Meeting with Unit office bearers on Saturday with Co-Convener (Finance) and State Executive Member BJP Nagaland, Temjen Imna Along Longkumer as the keynote Speaker. According to a press release, Longkumer while addressing the gathering, emphasised that the BJP is a cadre based party and not an individual centric party where all the party men/individuals are as important as any other. He also claimed that the BJP is not an anti-Christian party and urged the gathering not to be deterred by, what he termed, “propaganda” spread through social media but rather focus on strengthening the foundation of the party from the grass root level. “Let us change the aged old practice of candidate based politics into a party based politics,” the release quoted Longkumer as saying.
