In its meeting held along with BJP Phek division and village units on March 23 at the Mini Tourist Lodge, Pfütsero, the BJP Mandal resolved to demand impeachment of the president, NDPP Phek Division.
“The Phek Division NDPP president was responsible for the merger of NPP to NPF violating all the norms of NDPP-BJP pre-poll alliance in this 13th General Election. Therefore, the party felt it necessary that the NDPP Central office removed him immediately from the office of NDPP Phek Division so as keep the alliance in letter and in spirit,” stated a press release from BJP 17th Chizami Mandal president, Vetshe Tsüzüh and general secretary, Khrope Tsuhuh.

“CBCC failing to justify satisfactorily, the party shall not participate in any manner of church activities, be it donation/contribution and move non-cooperation movement,” the press release asserted.
The party meanwhile demanded CBCC to “prove and authenticate” that “BJP is Communal, Anti Christian & Killer and accordingly, the membership of BJP supporters be strike off from the respective churches.”
The house also resolved to “pressurize” the administration (DC, ADC, SDO (Civil), OC to immediately book the culprit for the “hate poster campaigns” of February 19, 2018, the release added.
