Consultative cum interactive meeting of BJP leaders and others held in Kohima on June 30.
Kohima, June 30 (MExN): A consultative cum interactive meeting of the BJP elected legislators’ with the ex-candidates of 14th NLA election 2023 was held at the official residence of Y Patton, DY CM and BLP leader in Kohima on June 30.
The main purpose of the meeting was to uplift the spirit of the Ex- candidates and to ensure unity within the party, regardless of the election outcome, media cell Dy CMO (Home) stated in a press release. It said that one key discussion point was boosting the morale of the defeated candidates, emphasizing that their efforts during the campaign were still valuable to the party.
The Dy CM stressed on the importance of both the victorious candidates and those defeated candidates to work together for the party’s progress in the State. All attendees were encouraged to share their unique experience from the recent election, bringing different perspective to the table. The aim was to create platform where both the winning and losing candidates could learn from each other.
The idea of unity, encouragement and mutual learning was heavily emphasized, pointing out that these principles serve the larger interest of the party in the state, it added.
