BJP membership drive reaches Zunheboto

Zunheboto, AUGUST 5 (MExN): The state-wide BJP membership drive undertaken by the Nagaland Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha after kicking off the exercise in Dimapur on August 2 has reached Zunheboto after covering Mokokchung town two days back.

The membership drive in Zunheboto town was held on Monday garnering a huge number of new enrolments, said Nagaland BJYM, President, Benjamin Yepthomi. In each of the districts covered so far, the state BJYM is collaborating with its respective units for stronger support and coordination.

During the membership drive, Benjamin assured those who raised concerns about lack of employment opportunities, that he would convey their genuine concerns to the State BJP President, Temjen Imna Along, who is also the Minister for Higher & Technical Education and Tribal Affairs.

Benjamin also urged upon the people to avail a number of citizen-friendly schemes initiated by the BJP government at the Centre such as Mudra loan scheme and Ayushman Bharat.
During the drive, an 89-year old women also registered herself with the BJP.
