Mokokchung, May 9 (MExN): On Mother’s Day, the Mahila Morcha of BJP Mokokchung District along with party district officials chose to spend time with the children at Care & Support Society (Orphanage Home), Chungtia.
The team led by Mahila Morcha President, Meyisenla Mollier and BJP District President Imolemba Jamir, accompanied by a strong entourage of party workers, reached the orphanage home with the sole mission to propagate ‘mother’s love’ to the orphans who, unfortunately, are bereft of that essential motherly love in one’s life, a press release from the IT & Media Cell informed on Monday.
They provided gifts, provisions and clothing to the Home.
The release stated that the Director of the Care & Support Society, Imchawati Kichu passed away recently, “Nonetheless, the BJP, Mokokchung district assured to render all help to the orphanage home as before.”
It also stated that the BJP, Mokokchung district President Imolemba Jamir had constructed an infirmary room at the orphanage home in 2021 and the BJP Mokokchung district ‘had always kept a close relation with the Home rendering all help as and when needed.’
The visiting BJP team included district secretary Temjennungsang and 27 Koridang Mandal President Limanungsang and other officials, the release stated.
