The training at Noksen mandal was led by K James Vizo and Yanghose Sangtam, Convener and Co-convener of BJP Media Cell, while the training at Longkhim-Chare mandal was led by Jaangsillung, general secretary, Ananta Mishra, and Bandi, spokesperson.

A press release from BJP Nagaland Media Cell informed that 500 people comprising of 230 booth-level workers and local committee and mandal workers attended the programme in Noksen and 130 workers were present at Longkhim-Chare mandal.

“This type of training is first of its kind for the party in the State; the party elsewhere in the mainland has adopted these strategies in many states that led to many victories in the election polls,” the release said.

After the first training session at Noksen, the second session was a public meeting where more than 500 people gathered, it informed. Addressing the meeting, K James Vizo, Convener for BJP Media Cell said that BJP by its name is Indian People’s Party, a political party registered under the Election Commission of India (ECI) which believes in the Constitution of India as law.

“Its priority is to deliver development to all, irrespective of tribes or sex,” he assured. “When we look at our State, it is sad that we have no stability, no performance and no developments,” Vizo stated, adding “Bharatiya Janata Party is the only party that can deliver stability and good governance with development.”

Media Co-convener Yanghose Sangtam said BJP government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched more than 130 central schemes mainly focusing on the downtrodden people. BJP, he stated, is exercising routine party activities whether there is assembly poll or not.
