Dimapur, September 3 (MExN): BJP Nagaland led by its President, Visasolie Lhoungu met Union Ministers Ram Vilas Paswan and Kiren Rijiju in New Delhi. A press release from Jaangsillung Gonmei, General Secretary (Media), BJP Nagaland informed that Ram Vilas Paswan, Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, was briefed about the situation in the State and requested for construction of FCI godowns in all the district headquarters necessitated by poor communications and road conditions, especially during monsoon. He assured that the matter will be taken up. Presently, four district FCI godowns are under construction. He also assured that FCI grade IV posts in the state will be reserved for the local people.
Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju was also apprised of the urgency to solve the Naga issue at the earliest.
The State BJP members will also visit other leaders in the next few days, it was informed.
Meanwhile, the release informed that the state visit of National General Secretary Saroj Pandey, who was also the Mayor, MLA and MP of Chattisgarh, in the second week of September has been cancelled.
