Nagaland state BJP today observed Kargil Vijay Diwas and paid tribute to Kargil heroes who made supreme sacrifices to protect the nation. Led by Nagaland state BJP vice president Eduzu Theluo and Nagaland state ST Morcha president Thomas Magh, the state BJP karyakartas saluted Captain (Late) Neikezhakuo Kenguruse, MVC (Posthumous) for his ultimate sacrifice during the 1999 Kargil War.
The BJP karyakartas laid wreaths and offered prayer at Captain Neikezhakuo Kenguruse memorial site in Nerhe Phezha under Kohima district.
Eduzu Theluo and Thomas Magh, the convenor and co-convenor respectively for this year Kargil Vijay Diwas event, also interacted with Neikezhakuo’s father Neiselie Kenguruse and family members.
Medochutuo Kiewhuo, BJP state secretary including BJP IT Cell and Kohima district Yuva Morcha also present at the programme.
Theluo informed that the BJP pay respect to Kargil heroes on 26 July every year.
Meanwhile, BJP Nagaland media cell stated that BJP Nagaland remains committed to remembering and honoring the legacy of our heroes who laid down their lives for the nation.
