Dimapur, March 20 (MExN): The first meeting of the new team of Nagaland BJP office bearers was held on March 17 at the party office in Dimapur. Chaired by the State President Visasolie Lhoungu, the meeting was attended by BJP State office bearers and senior leaders. The president asked the party members to overcome obstacles and lead the party to even greater heights, a press release from Jaangsillung Gonmei, General Secretary, BJP Nagaland Media informed.
The meeting deliberated on the organizational set up and party programmes. Explaining the reasons behind the slow pace of setting up party office bearers on different fronts, the president said that competent persons are being appointed in different capacities representing various sections of the society, hence, the gradual pace of setting up the party’s organizational structure.
The meeting also discussed several areas of the party functioning, the hurdles and challenges ahead which would also be addressed to the Central leaders as required. Tour to every district would be undertaken in a short while and existing situation in every district will be reviewed, it was decided.
