Continuing with the 15-day commemoration of Prime Minister Modi’s 8 years of successful government, it was informed that the BJP karyakatas have participated in a state wide whole day activity on June 4.
Informing this at a briefing called by the BJP Noklak district, H Haying, Advisor for Prison & Printing and Stationery said as part of its service to the community, it has undertaken a massive cleanliness drive of Primary Health Centres, Community Health Centres and sub-centres, cemeteries, places of worship and tree plantation.
Visiting of orphanage homes and old age homes are in the pipeline to be taken up on alternative days across the state. The party workers will also be reaching out to the beneficiaries of PM’s Health card holders, ration card holders, Kisan card holders, beneficiaries’ of free cylinders, housing for all etc.
Through this, Haying maintained that it envision to create more awareness to the masses with a vision that all needy people will benefit from these flagship programmes and schemes that were launched and being implemented under Modi’s government.
He informed that the State Minority Morcha is scheduled to hold its outreach programme in Kohima and other districts on June 7 and 8. Besides, the Department of Health & Family Welfare under the initiative of the state Health Minister, Pangyuh Phom will be conducting free medical camp in all the districts.
During this camp, Haying said free medical check up and consultation and free medicine will be given to the poor and needy as part of ‘Seva, Sushana aur Gareeb Kalyan Parv.’
The 15-day long celebration will wind up with a ‘Tribal Mela’ in Kohima on June 15 organised by the ST Morcha with cultural display, indigenous fames and cultural exhibition.
“All these activities are done to create more public awareness keeping in mind the spirit of service to humanity, good governance and upliftment of the poor,” said Haying.
He also briefly highlighted the various schemes and programme that are being implemented in Noklak district, which according to him is benefitting the people a lot.
