Members of the BJP Peren unit commemorated one year of ‘Modi 2.0’ and inaugurated its district office in Jalukie on June 8.

PEREN, JUNE 8 (MExN): The BJP, Peren unit commemorated the one year completion of ‘Modi-2.0’ cum inauguration of district head office on June 8 at Jalukie Town, Peren Nagaland.
A press release from the party unit said expressed “gratitude and joy over the dynamic achievement of the nationwide progress of the nation under the paramount leadership of Narendra Modi Prime Minister of India.”
The party unit also appreciated what it termed as the “timely handling and tackling of the COVID-19 pandemic with affective and preventive measures to contain the rapid spreading of the dreaded virus.”
The party men extended its support to the district administration and service rendered by way of serving one-time meal to 250 returnees at the three Quarantine Centres in Peren.
Meanwhile, the new office of the district BJP Peren unit was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. George Antony, Parish Priest & Principal of St. Xavier Hr. Secondary School Jalukie. In compliance with the directives of the state BJP Nagaland Unit, Kerieteilu was appointed as the President of the district BJYM and endorsed upon him to set up its office at the earliest.
