Peren, July 12 (MExN): The BJP Peren district conducted its district executive meeting on July 5.
The members present emphasized on the growth of the party and decided to tour the five blocks of 6th Tening A/C, namely Athibung, Khelma, Nsong, Tening Town and Mbaulwa range, and Jalukie, Peren and Ngwalwa of 7th Peren A/C. This was resolved in order to strengthen the party from the grassroots level and enroll more members into the party, stated a release issued by BJP Peren district president, NC Max Dailiam and general secretary (admin), Junang Chawang.
The 6th Tening A/C mandal president recommended setting up party candidate for the general election 2018. State council members, Yuva Morcha, District office bearers and senior party members also spoke in the meeting.
Prashant Arora, BJP general secretary (organizing) for Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh highlighted the national flagship programmes and agendas of the party.
Among the agendas discussed were the district BP office construction, criteria in 12 points, bringing Peren team into the platform as Modi brought ‘Team India’, Swatch Bharat, and development of karyakatas. The meeting also resolved to strictly adhere to the party constitution.
