Dimapur, September 18 (MExN): The BJP Mandal Pughoboto has stated that it is “disheartened and dejected” at the silence of NPF Central Youth Wing on the termination of appointments in the department of Health & Family Welfare (H&FW).
The NPF Youth Wing had issued a statement clarifying their stand on the issue which was published in local dailies. “Unfortunately they failed to answer the questions raised by the BJP Mandal Pughoboto,” a press release from the Media Cell, BJP Mandal Pughoboto, stated insisting that it was compelled to seek clarification from them. “But they chose to remain silent for the reason(s) best known to them,” the Pughoboto BJP added.
Asserting that it will not remain silent, the BJP Mandal Pughoboto yet again sought answers and clarifications on the “numerous applicants” who made “various complaints” which compelled the NPF Youth Wing to issue termination of appointments made specifically during November 1, 2015 to April 30, 2016 only.
It cited the meeting with the NPF Central Youth Wing President on the termination of appointments, during which the President had mentioned that there was pressure from “high command”. “Who was/were the high command(s) he was talking about?” the BJP Pughoboto asked.
The BJP Pughoboto further demanded that the NPF Central Youth Wing specify at least one department, apart from H&FW, where it was taking measure(s) or have taken up this kind of issue, so as to curb the corruption of illegal appointments.
