The BJP’s 15-day long ‘Seva, Sushasan, Gareeb Kalyan’ programme will culminate with a ‘tribal mela’ on June 15 at Kohima.
Informing this at a press briefing, Kohima District Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president, Khrielie Üsou said this programme is in commemoration of 8 years of Modi 2.0 government in India.
Under this programme, he said the party karyakartas will be carrying out social services in all the seven constituencies.
Highlighting the various schemes and programmes under Modi government totaling to about 700 schemes, Üsou mentioned some programmes which are being carried out in the state.
He informed that under PM Kisan, about two lakh five thousand farmers are being benefitted wherein Rs 6000 is credited annually in their bank accounts in installments. In Kohima, there are more than 9000 beneficiaries under this scheme, he informed.
Schemes like Atal Pension Yojana, Smart City Mission, Digital India, Ayushman Bharat, Start Up India, Make in India, Beti Padhao Beti Bachhao (BPBB) etc, he stated have benefited a lot of people even in the state.
