
Dimapur, April 12 (MExN): The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Nagaland State organised a promotional program on BHIM App (Bharat Interface for Money) at New Market on April 11 and Hong Kong Market on April 12. BHIM is a mobile application based on Unified Payment Interface (UPI) announced by PM Narendra Modi for cashless payment in India. Nagaland BJYM president K. Vikuho Dominic while launching the promotional program asked and requested specially the students and intellectuals of our society to use and promote digital transaction as this will save time and energy and as well as digitalize our society and way of life. The essentials for using this app is a smartphone, internet access, bank account with debit card and mobile number linked to the bank. A press release stated that BJYM National is planning to train more than 15 lakhs youths all over the country.
