Wokha, January 25 (MExN): The BJYM Wokha District introductory meeting cum New Voter Sammelan programme was at its office with Thomas, States Spokesperson, Wokha District Incharge as the special guest on January 25.
A press release received here stated that addressing the gathering, the spokesperson said, ‘our PM is a futuristic leader who had a vision to take the nation forward. He knows the value and importance of one vote which can make a big difference in changing the nation through the young voters.’
‘BJP is a discipline party deeply rooted in serving, having a strong and one of the best organizational set up in the world,’ Thomas said. He added, “We Nagas are slowly adopting and coping with the rest of the states. Our society especially the Lothas had education that is far ahead and opined that you all can do anything even in leading the Nagas one day.”
BJYM State Secretary, Likyao Odyuo also spoke during the programme, the release stated.
Altogether 180 party workers from all four mandals attended the programme with 80 young voters (32 female and 48 male) registering as first timer commemorating the National voter's day which falls on January 25.
