Block level training of CSPs held in Mokokchung

Mokochung, February 20 (MExN): District Management Unit (DMMU) DAY-NSRLM conducted a four-day Block Level Training of Community Service Providers (CSPs) on Sustainable Agriculture and Livestock at NSRLM office Kubulong Block and Chuchuyimlang block Mokokchung district from February 14 till 18.

The training was held under National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) which was attended by 20 participants. 
Resource persons for the programme were Dr Sanen Jamir (Department of AH & Veterinary Health Service), Takalemba Jamir (DFS, NSRLM), Imsuakum Pongen (Area co-ordinator) and Temsurenlakichu (Area Co-ordinator) from NSRLM. 

The programme was conducted by DAY-NSRLM Mokokchung as a part of the DAY-NSLRM’s Annual Action Plan for the FY-2019-2020. It was initiated to promote agro-veterinary practice that increase women’s farmer income and reduce their input cost, risk and drudgery. 

The Community Service Provider were trained and demonstrated on the improved agricultural practices and livestock rearing.
