KOHIMA, APRIL 7 (MExN): Marking the World Health Day, the Assam Rifles in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, Nagaland state branch and Blood Bank of Naga Hospital Authority Kohima, organized a blood donation and medical camp on April 6 at New Minister’s Hill, Kohima.

The primary objective of this initiative was to raise awareness about the critical importance of blood donation and to address the healthcare needs of the community. Skilled medical professionals from the Assam Rifles, IRCSN, and Naga Hospital provided free consultations and essential medications to all attendees.

Furthermore, informative sessions were conducted to educate the public on various health-related topics, promoting healthy lifestyle practices. 61 individuals donated blood while 124 people availed medical camp services.
