Kohima, May 31 (MExN): In commemoration of the forthcoming 26th Raising Day of 78 Bn CRPF, Kohima, Zubza on June 1, the 78 Bn CRPF organized a Blood Donation camp at BN HQr., Zubza, Kohima today with the kind cooperation of the Naga Hospital, Kohima. Twenty volunteer Jawans of 78 Bn CRPF donated Blood to the Blood Bank of Naga Hospital, Kohima to provide to the needy recipients.
Father Jose, Rector, Don Bosco High School, Zubza graced the occasion as chief guest. While speaking during the function Prabhanjan Kumar, Commandant-78 Bn CRPF, said that CRPF is a respectable force which had been rendering sincere and selfless service to the Nation. Apart from the performance of their normal duties, CRPF had also constantly involved in social works like Blood Donation camp and Civic Action Programme etc.
Dr. V. Khamo, Senior Pathologist, In-Charge Blood Bank, Naga Hospital, alongwith her technical team and Dr. C.M. Ngullie, CMO, 78 Bn CRPF, took active part in the blood donation camp. 20 volunteers including Sh. N. Ranbir Singh, Dy. Comdt., Sh. R.S. Bisht, Asst. Comdt., Insp/GD S.R.R. Raju & 17 Other personnel of 78 Bn CRPF donated their blood.
