Blood storage unit power back-up inaugurated at District Hospital Wokha

WOKHA December 13 (MExN): Dr Motsuo Memorial District Hospital, Wokha received the Blood Storage Unit Power back-up from the District Administration under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner, Wokha on December 13.

 


Speaking at the inaugural programme, Dr Manazir J Samoon (IAS) DC Wokha said that the Administration took the initiative procuring the power back up and expressed his happiness by donating the gadgets, Mhonbeni Ezung, DMO, NHM, Wokha stated in a press release.

 


He also encouraged the District Hospital staffs to make it functional as soon as possible so that the public can avail the service, with an assurance that the District Administration and Medical Department will continue to work together for new initiatives in future.

 

Thungdemo, President Team Metamorphosis (NGO) Wokha thanked the District Administration for the initiative and assured that his team is ever ready for voluntary blood donation to the needy patients as when needed.

 

Dr Robin Lotha CMO Wokha appreciated the former DC Wokha Wezope Kenye, and Wokha ADC Thavasalem as this project. He also thanked the HoD NEEPCO Doyang for providing Blood Storage Refrigerator.

 

Earlier, Dr Tumchobeni MS DMMDH chaired the programme and welcomed and thanked members present.
