
Dimapur, May 31 (MExN): The GBs Union Dimapur while appealing to the factions to lay down their arms, forgive and forget about the past in the good name of Jesus questioned why the cadres can’t be confined to their designated camps instead of loitering around towns and villages, armed and in war fatigues. The union further reiterated that the killing among factions has disturbed the integrity of Naga Independence.
The release also pointed out how five decades have passed while the people of Nagaland have been living under the shadow of darkness struggling for sovereignty. With the cease-fire agreement signed between the GOI and NSCN an acceptable solution is anticipated, it was maintained.
'Instead they are gunning down their own brothers and sisters who are all blessed creations of our almighty God and that too in the sacred land of Christ the union stated. “If the National workers are fighting for the sake of Naga Independence where lays the interest or fratricide elements to play its ugly role of bloodshed”, questioned the release.
In addition they warned that ignorance to the wrath of people and shedding of innocent blood 'will invite the wrath of God and even the kith and kin of those responsible will be cursed' miserably ' without any room for forgiveness from reminded the union's release.
