Board exam commences across Nagaland

The HSSLC examination and Class XI promotion examination 2019 commenced today across Nagaland, conducted by Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE).


Menukhol John, principal secretary for school education today inspected some examination centres in Kohima and expressed satisfaction over the peaceful and smooth conduct of the examinations.


In HSSLC examination, a total of 15,820 candidates (Arts-11860, Commerce-1319, Science-2641) have enrolled and appearing from 54 provisional examination centres.


Out of 15,820 candidates, 8335 are girls and 7485 are boys. A total of 17,027 students also appearing for the Class XI Promotion Examination 2019.
HSLC examination 2019 will start from February 13.


In HSLC Examination, there are 23,189 candidates out of which, 11,175 boys and 12,014 girls will be appearing for the examination from 79 provisional examination centres and 2 sub centres.


There are 19,953 regular candidates for the HSLC examination. 3232 candidates are repeaters. 2 students are appearing again to improve their result and there are 2 cases of change of centre.


In HSLC examination, Dimapur district have the highest enrolment of 7,598 candidates followed by Kohima district with 3,929 candidates.


NBSE requested all the Centre Superintendents and the Invigilators to conduct the examinations as per the rules.
