NOKLAK, JULY 2 (MExN): A man was swept away by strong water current at Ngühaiu River, under Noklak district on July 1.
According to a DIPR report, the victim has been identified as one Pushing Khiamniungan, a private driver (aged 30 years), hailing from Kengkhaio Kusong village under Noklak district. The victim was washed away by the strong water current while attempting to cross the river.
The incident occurred around 8 pm. The mortal remain was recovered at around 1:30 am on July 2, the DIPR report informed.
