
Kohima, July 29 (MExN): Nagaland Orthopaedic Society (NOS) will observe the Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA) Bone and Joint Day with the theme ‘Old is Gold-Care for Elderly’ on August 4. NOS General Secretary, Dr Visietsolie Vupru in a press release stated that the society will provide targeted services for the elderly senior citizens at Naga Hospital Kohima and District Hospital Dimapur. The services proposed are surgeries at Naga Hospital Kohima with implants to be provided by NOS and Free Bone Mineral density (BMD) test and Medicines at District Hospital Dimapur for the elderly senior citizens. The Orthopaedic Department of the respective hospitals can be contacted for the services. The NOS has invited elderly citizens to avail the free services to ensure good bone health.
