Morung Express News Dimapur | January 10 A book titled, “The Church, its People” authored by Rev Dr Phughoto Sema was released on Tuesday by Executive Secretary WSBAK, Rev Dr Hevukhu Achumi at Kiyeto village. Speaking at the book release and dedicatory programme, Rev Dr Phughoto said the book was based on his experiences and observations of the Church and its people which he analysed in his 35 years of service for the Lord. He also said that the book includes a discourse on divisive politics and illegal vote banks which negatively affects the Church and its people. "If we do not live properly today, there is a bleak future awaiting us," he said and added that the danger of today’s reality was also discussed. Rev Dr Phughoto informed that the book was a second edition of a similar book authored by him in 1991. Earlier, Rev Dr Hevukhu pronounced a dedicatory prayer before releasing the book. Release of the book also coincided with completion of 35 years of Rev Dr Phughoto's service for the Lord as well as his 60th birthday. The programme was attended by a host of prominent Church leaders and well wishers.
