Kiphire, February 19 (MExN): A book donation programme was held at Zisaji Presidency College, where study materials were donated to the college library and students by Akehda Amulung.
The college library officially acknowledged the contribution and expressed gratitude for the gesture. The donated materials are expected to support students in preparing for competitive examinations and strengthen their academic foundation.
During the programme, study materials were distributed to all students present. In total, 234 students are set to benefit from the distribution.
The Principal of the college thanked Longtili C Sangtam for the donation and encouraged students by reminding them that life is not solely about securing a government job. He urged them to explore different paths and opportunities according to their interests and talents.

In his address, Longtili C Sangtam, Founder of Akehda Amulung, encouraged students to make full use of the materials provided. He advised them to grow according to their strengths and remain focused on self-improvement. He also thanked Eduversity for assisting in making the initiative possible and appreciated the institute for prioritising students.
Vilila Thonger, Assistant Research Officer under the Art and Culture Department, Government of Nagaland, shared her personal journey of clearing the NPSC examination. She encouraged students to remain content in their pursuits and to distance themselves from negative influences. She urged them to work consistently and with determination towards their goals, and to be prepared to make sacrifices for success.
The programme concluded with appreciation from the college authority and renewed encouragement for students to aim high and prepare diligently for their future.
