KG Kenye releases a book on profile of’ Governors of Nagaland’ in Kohima on January 18.

Nagaland Power & Parliamentary Affairs Minister KG Kenye today released a book on profile of “Governors of Nagaland” from 1961-2023 published by the department of Parliamentary Affairs.
In his message, Kenye said that this publication will serve “as an important documentary treasure for us to glimpse into the life and achievements of all the great personalities who served the state of Nagaland as first citizens.”
Wezope Kenye, commissioner and secretary for Parliamentary Affairs department stated that the publication was a humble attempt to incorporate the biographies and accreditations of the tall personalities (Governors of Nagaland) and services rendered for the welfare of the state of Nagaland.
He thanked Governor's Secretariat, Kohima, Nagaland, the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Secretariat (Library cell), Anungla Aier, Under Secretary and Mewelo Kepfoh, Jr Section Officer, Parliamentary Affairs Department for their efforts in collecting and compiling the required data in spite of the limited availability of information.
He sincerely hoped that this publication will not only honour those distinguished and eminent personalities but will also benefit all the people of the state.
