Zunheboto, September 7 (MExN): A book titled ‘Marriage: When the Drape Reveals’ written by Vinica S Achumi and published by Dimapur Publishing Company (DPC) was released by Ghunato Assumi, Associate Pastor (G), SBCZ at URF Office, Zunheboto on September 5.
A press release issued by the DPC stated that the programme commenced with introduction and welcome address by Agape Chishi, Associate Pastor (Y) SBCZ followed by the book release and publisher’s note from Dr Hitoca Sumi, Publisher, DPC.
Vinica S Achumi in her address stated that the book is an undertaking to comprehend the entire concept of marriage; how individuals perceive it distinctively with special reference to the Sumi Naga tribe. She said that it will permit the readers to wander profoundly about what marriage truly implies and the issues couples manage which may be invisible to the world.
“It will also allow the readers to truly comprehend the different roles of Husband, wife, parents and especially for young people to prepare and look forward to being a great spouse to someone sometime in the future,” she added. Achumi dedicated the book to her parents Rev Shekiye Achumi and Khenili Achumi.
