DIMAPUR, August 12 (MExN): Bosco B.Ed. College, Dimapur, held its Fresher’s Day 2016 for 100 new students and Farewell Programme for former principal Fr. Muthirakalam Sabu Joseph on August 12 in the college auditorium. According to a press release, new Principal Fr. T. C. Joseph thanked the former principal for his dedicated service in the B.Ed. College for the last eight years and congratulated him for bringing the college to a very high level of academic performance.
Fr. Sabu, the outgoing principal thanked the new principal, staff and students for the beautiful programme. The students listened to him with rapt attention as he urged them to ‘start their studies with the end in mind’ so that they would one day become teachers with ‘competence’ and ‘character’, the release stated.
Others who spoke included Fr. Nestor Guria, Provincial of Dimapur, Dipak on behalf of the teaching staff, Lilongla for the 2nd semester students and Christina on behalf of the 1st semester students.
