Bose’s 119th birth anniversary observed

Morung Express News Dimapur | January 23   Dimapur  Bongs, a philanthropic organization on Saturday observed 119th birth anniversary of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose in the premises of Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) with Commandant 32 Assam Rifles, Col. VS Shikawat as the chief guest.   Col Shikawat described Netaji SC Bose as an intellectual and a successful person who inspired many youths of the country. He encouraged youngsters to read his biography and draw inspiration from his life story.  

Chairman of Livingstone Foundation Higher Secondary School, Andrew Ahoto and representative of Bhojpuri Samaj, Promod Singh also spoke briefly during the programme.   The birth anniversary celebration was marked with drawing competition, blood donation camp and blood painting. Later, in the evening, a partriotic nite was presented by Sargam Cultural Association.
