‘Bringing changes in district requires presence of officers,’ says DC Peren

Peren, July 6 (MExN): During the Peren District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting, the Deputy Commissioner Peren, Vineet Kumar, IAS lamented on the public complaints regarding the absence of many officers in the station. 

Addressing the DPDB meeting at DC's Conference Hall, Peren under the chairmanship of DC Peren on July 6, the DC Peren said, “bringing changes in the district requires the efforts of all the DPDB members and the presence of officers can bring a lot of differences in the functioning of the district.” 

Therefore, he appealed to the officers to be available in the respective posting place to ensure smooth functioning of the office as well as to provide the best services to the public, stated a DIPR report. 

Earlier, the agenda for the proposal of grant-in-aid for a urinal shed and safe drinking water facility at Baptist High School, Tening was approved to be forwarded to the higher-ups for further action, stated a DIPR report. 

Regarding the agenda on monsoon preparedness of Peren district, officials from R&B, F&CS, Agriculture, Veterinary, Medical, PHE, and PWD (Housing) department shared their preparedness level if any eventualities arise as well as the issues they have been facing.

Other agendas discussed in the meeting included: frequent failure of power in Tening town and the vacant post of Headmaster at GHS, Tening.
