DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 16 (MExN): As per the call given by the All Union and Association (AUAB) of BSNL, the AUAB NE-II Telecom Circle Dimapur said they will extend support to the proposed three-day strike which is slated from February 18, 2019 onwards.
A press release issued by chairman of AUAB NE-II Telecom Circle, Sukhai Sema on Saturday informed that the aim of the proposed strike is to demand for allotment of 4G spectrum to BSNL, implementation of 3rd pay revision with 15% fitment, pension revision for BSNL pensioners w.e.f 01.01.2017, payment of pension contribution by BSNL as government rules, settlement of the left out issues of 2nd pay revision committee among others.
In this connection, the AUAB NE-II Telecom Circle has expressed regret to its customers for the inconvenience that may arise out of this strike and appeal to the public to support BSNL as these demands not only involve the interest of BSNL employees but also interest of public.
